Blackwork is an exciting embroidery technique. It has existed since the 1500s, originally embroidered on a white base with a black thread geometrical, repeated patterns - in the modern version, it is customary to embroider completely different shapes with any color. In my workshops, we often use this technique, and now we are going to focus specifically on it. There will be a talk about designing patterns and fitting them into a frame, and especially how to embroider them the most evenly and "more beautifully." In fact, it will also be about how the back of embroidery becomes less chaotic. I'm gonna take different lines of samples, and you can put together the whole pattern from the kindest of you. It can be interesting for beginners and advanceds, because on this occasion we learn from each other, we'll talk about who's having trouble embroidering, listening to music, eating and drinking and spending a pleasant afternoon in a very cool place.
