Embroidery workshop - Two Rabbits
If you're unsure about the language or anything else regarding the event, please contact the event organizer for confirmation.
At the present workshop, we will make a small blackwork (max. 5x5 cm) or cross-eye sample with a tiny twist: we will use a canvas that would not normally be suitable for this because of its weaving. We will work with a water-soluble applicator, which will help you embroidered evenly. This can be applied to any material, then you simply have to cut off the wrench when the embroidery is done, washed out in water, the topping disappears and the beautiful embroidery is done. You can bring your own clothes, your own bag, which you'd like to flip, but I'm also preparing a colorful canvas so you can make your fancy sutures that you can sew on later. If you bring your own, it is worth paying attention to the following: do not be too stretchy-flexy, because after the embroidery it will jump and be uneven, or be firm, but do not get too thick (try to stick it with a sharp needle comfortably) and not too thin (for example, a tully material may tear away from all the stabbing back and forth).
This workshop is not technically the easiest, but even beginners can do it - I will show you everything you need, it will be a little more challenging than embroidering on a "smooth" embroidered canvas.
Location: Two Rabbits tattoo parlour (Szeged, Attila u. 18.) Date: 26 July 2025 (Saturday) 16-19 hours He holds the occupation: LĂvia Falusi, creator of threadwork
The occupation fee is HUF 6500, which includes all necessary tools and samples, as well as snacks and drinks. You will be able to pay by credit card or cash (if you pay by cash, I will thank you if you make an exact amount).
If you bring one or more of your friends/pair/enemy/relationship/boss, you will receive a discount of HUF 500 per person from the participation fee. In this case, both fill out a separate form and enter each other's names in a note (it will make it easier for me to follow the number).
